a recipe

"casserole"

4 oz elbow macaroni

3/4 lb ground beef

1/2 medium onion, chopped

1/2 green pepper, chopped(i feed the leftover bits to my dog, daisy, she loves green peppers!)

1 large can whole tomatoes,,,,i squeeze them in my hand over the pot when it's time to add them;-) and don't throw out the juice! add it in with the maters

1 1/2 teaspoons catsup

1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce (i can spell it, i just can't say it;-)

1 small can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (i use more, which might be why i weigh a whole lot more now than i did when i graduated)

cook and drain macaroni according to pkg instructions.

brown beef, onion and green pepper, drain. add tomatoes AND JUICE, macaroni, catsup and W-sauce...simmer 30 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.

pour into large baking dish, add soup and cheese, mix well, and add more cheese on top....bake at 350 for 30 minutes or so, until cheese starts to brown.

i add garlic powder to my serving, but that's just me....i LOVE this stuff! husband hates it, but the kid liked it, too. the kid and i rule!

Hi! Your recipe sounds yummy. I haven't cooked anything 'real' in quite some time. Just gave up cooking a few years ago. If I can't find something in the freezer to cook in 6 minutes in the microwave, I eat out! lol Thanks for your thoughts on my brother. I was blessed to have him as long as I did. Take care,
Mari
